Inspiration

Inspiration flows
from many sources;
mostly within ourselves.

Pretty pictures conjure
scents and places,
wood and steel don't.

I can dip myself
into the inkwell of water
and write my dissatisfaction.

Gather 'Round

Gather 'round the fire
take off the chill
and warm that old heart

May wanna save those
marshmallows til later,
don't want no one getting hurt.

Too much smoke
bothers them eyes. Come
o'er here where wind won't
getcha.
