Faces, wrapped in plastic,
distort the features of purity
that molded plastic emphasizes.
Use Saran Wrap to cover imperfections
only noticeable when presents open.
Such extremes created by man.

The same material, vastly different,
shrouds my soul mate and gives us
an eerie appearance when viewed as intended.
Scare the children away. No treats here.
