Picture Poetry

These poems were written based on pictures. I have not included the original picture links with the words. Most can stand on their own without them. To see the pictures, go to Photographic Inspiration.

Blurred

I go through my days
buried alive in a fog
far too stubborn
for the fiercest winds.

If only Mother Nature
would clear the path
ahead, I could see.

If only you could
call my name above
the ferocious cries,
I could hear.

If only I could swim
through the mist-clad
atmosphere, I could feel.

Maybe then,
the fog would lift enough--
I could come home.
