Silk Spun Magic

Silken webs woven in patterns
spread across my window when
my attention wanes in winter.

My sole concern consists clearly
in where the co-authors of the colony
could be when not at home.

See, harmless hairy spiders
terrify me horribly even when
the human is much bigger.
